1. WE ARE IMPACT-DRIVEN RATHER THAN PROFIT-DRIVEN

Many debate camps seek to profit from “selling” debate services, cutting corners on best practices in debate ethics while leaving debaters with few of the skills necessary for long-term success. As a registered 501(c)(3) non-profit organization, our team members work hard to generate the most effective curriculum and educational experience to positively impact the next generation of advocates & debaters. We are solely invested in the success of our students, we DO NOT collect profits as staff members, AND we donate 100% of our profits to charities and non-profits fighting oppression and poverty.

We guarantee a 6:1 student teacher ratio and cap the number of students for an optimal learning experience rather than overcrowd our classrooms for profit. We don’t see students as a “one-stop shop” and throw together a bundle of tricks for them to regurgitate and win a couple of debate rounds—as seems to be increasingly common at debate camps especially for Lincoln-Douglas—we aim to equip students with the foundation for successful debate careers and advocacy skills long after they graduate. Our staff members understand the value of debate and willingly volunteer their time to help younger generations of advocates develop their skills.
