OUR IMPACT

Our organization is focused on teaching the next generation of BIPOC leaders to debate a diversity of perspectives and advocate for change. The leadership, ethical reasoning, communication skills our students learn will certainly take them far in classrooms, at tournaments, and within their broader communities, but we want them to know that their participation helps alleviate societal inequalities. That's why 100% of our profits go to nonprofits and charities on the frontlines of fighting poverty, disease, climate change, inequality, and injustice.

In the past three years, we've donated $65,000+ to both local grassroots and national organizations. All profits last year went to nonprofits involved in COVID-19 relief, such as food banks, international or humanitarian aid organizations, homeless shelters, support funds for communities of color, and more. We evaluate how to maximize the impact of our donations based on the Effective Altruism framework.
